Yes, Flat Joe has been visiting his cousin Flat Stanley down in Ohio. Sandy Holladay, Joe’s caretaker, has been doing a wonderful job of taking care of him. It’s no wonder since she has a blog called the Traveling Suitcase and has a lot of fun with her own Flat Stanley and his travels. Here is a recent picture.

Flat Joe just finished a nice trip down to Summerville, South Carolina. He had the pleasure of visiting the queen bee herself, Melissa Marro. Melissa is owner and creator of creating the hive.com. Here is a little bit about the site in her own words:

A new friend.
First off I would like to say thanks to all the Flat Joe followers out there. It has been going really well and I hope that in the near future I will be able to expand the project to reach out to even more people and be able to bring you even more content.
The latest Flat Joe caretaker is Jenn from Bend Oregon. She had contacted me when I put a post up on facebook and she was so excited that I really could’t say no. I was so excited to host Flat Joe! He came to us all the way from Georgia, and seemed a little jet-lagged from the long trip! After a nice nap to acclimate him to our timezone, we started our adventures.
