It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas
I have to say that it's feeling very much like Christmas in our home. We have our Christmas tree up and gifts under it (all for our son). And to make it even more refreshing, we've received a little bit of snow on the ground. It's quite a bit different this year than it was last year - as I sit here and reminisce. I have the joy this year of watching our son crawl underneath the Christmas tree and just lay there and look up at the lights. He will push the presents out of the way and make a little spot for himself to just lay there and watch them. My husband used to do the same thing when he was a child he told me. Recipe Tuesday – Honey Beer Bread
I have to admit that I haven't tried this recipe yet. However, it is 'saved' for when I acquire some beer in our home. I can't remember the last time we really had any at all in our refrigerator (thank you Hubby). We're not alcoholic beverage consumers in our home except for the rare bottle of wine. Recipe Tuesday – Rolo Cookies
My husband is a big fan of Rolo's and when he saw me looking at this recipe, he promptly asked me to make them. They turned out great and will be a keeper in my recipe box. But not only was it tasty, it was also extremely easy to make. Ingredients: 1 package of Rolo's 1 Box of Devils Food Cake Mix 2 eggs 1/3C oil Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs. Take a small ball of dough and form a ball around the rolo. (Only use enough dough to cover the rolo so that it can spread through the cookie).
